·      In the Deep Creek non-restraint nursing home Annie Johnson was tied to her wheelchair and injected to keep her quiet by her nurse who says she is not Johnson’s babysitter. This is the fourth lawsuit brought against the nursing home three of them having to do with the same issues. The main problem about the actions that took place was the this is a non-restraint nursing home so unless directed or informed by a doctor nobody should be restraint to anything.

·      The problem here is the lack of directions or rules followed by nurses and lack of care

·      This affects not only the elderly dependent on these nurses but the families that put their trust in these nurses to take care of their loved one.

·      O’Connor Brewing recalls winter porter after off-flavors detected.

·      With a special seasonal brand/flavor of English-style porter has infused pecans and with the notes from two customers who were aging the product they found it to be off-flavors. After getting the notice the company ran test and found over carbonation and started to release the news to the public in case anyone else was aging the product.

·      The problem is over use of pecans than normal causes over carbonation and off-flavor

·      Western branch’s Claude Toukene leaving prep coaching behind feeling his main mission was accomplished

·      Claude Toukene is a phenomenal track and field coach at Western Branch high school who has coached there for 14 years and in his time has accumulated over 25 state team titles, 43 regional team titles. He will be coaching at his last high school state meet this weekend as he continues his career at Bryant & Stratton College. He shares how his goals were and are not to win titles but to change the lives of those whom he coaches.

·      The problem is the loss of a track and field coach for the high school and the athletes still training and attempting to find someone just as good

·      This affects the student athletes that run track at western branch high school as well as the school itself.

·      Weather, higher freight costs causes Chesapeake based Dollar Tree quarter profits to fall.

·      The local Dollar Tree has suffered drops in shares, profits, earnings, debt and rise in revenue. However, even with the rise in revenue it did not meet expectations. Due to weather that threatened its sales and freight cost they both contributed to the downfall the company’s share is having now.

·      Nadia Orton interested in the story of Albert jones who born a slave in Southampton, ran away from his owners to join the Union Army. After eventually coming back to Portsmouth he died of a house fire however, Orton wanted to see the grave that was located at the African-American Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. However, when Orton went to visit flooding stopped Orton from seeing Mr. Albert Jones. This is not the only cemetery that flooding and poor maintenance occurs it happens at several black cemeteries around the state.
